Exciting and innovative circular strategies which deliver customer engagement and brand loyalty.

Circular solutions for your brand.

Our background is in owning and operating apparel brands so we have first hand experience of why the clothing industry has to change. Currently it operates a take-make-waste linear model which leads to surplus stock and increased waste with much publicised damaging environmental consequences. The Ellen MacArthur Foundation highlights the worrying statistics that the industry makes 400% more clothing than it did 20 years ago and uses it 36% less. Circular Inc. addresses these issues by harnessing the potential of circular and sustainable design, sourcing, repair, upcycling and education. Taking what was once considered linear, waste, worthless or redundant giving it a new, extended and long life.

Seven clear reasons to join the circular economy.

1. Design out and divert waste.

As highly experienced designers with in-depth knowledge of circular design principles, our Design and Sourcing Labs create innovative apparel with minimal impact. Our Repair and Upcycling Labs divert waste by extending the life of the garments and textiles, capturing value across the full life cycle of the product. The Education Lab ensures this knowledge is available for all, from brands to individuals to schools.

2. Recover value.

Brands lack systems to recover value from unsellable inventory. For products that have been produced but cannot be sold, the creative, physical, natural and financial resources invested in them are lost. This leads to massive waste problems with negative environmental impacts, significant financial losses for brands and missed opportunities for consumers.

3. Repair.

We provide all of the services required to take unsellable products and turn them into like-new products available for resale. Our proprietary operations includes sorting and grading products, cleaning using state of the technology, verifying the quality and repairing items that need repairs and finally assuring the quality of the products before they are ready for resale.

4. Sales channel management.

We operate our own brands so we inherently understand that brands have different sales strategies. We support multi-sales channels for brands to deliver repaired products to their customers. We offer technology and operating services to enable retail and ecommerce sales. This includes the ability to build branded websites, serve sales through third party resellers like Ebay, Instagram, and the sale to retail stores.

5. Data collection.

Throughout the design, sourcing, repair and upcycling process we are able to capture all the valuable product data.  This is then shared with our brand partners to help enable future design for durability, repairability and disassembly, this will then reduce future costs within a circular business.

6. Upcycling.

At some point all products will reach the end of their useful life, but there is a still incredible embedded value in these products. As designers at heart, Circular Inc. brings a strong creative knowledge to the up-cycling process, to manufacture unique and desirable products from what was previously seen as waste.

7. Sustainability.

Make your brand truly sustainable. Consumers are increasingly demanding that companies show and justify their sustainability credentials. By using our Labs your brand will not only have an opportunity to capitalise on waste stock but will also be able to demonstrate to your customers that your business is becoming part of the new circular economy. A truly sustainable business.

Circular Inc. was created to solve inherent problems within the apparel industry and to create new systems that do what is good and right for people and for the planet. We are organised around the idea that businesses have multiple responsibilities for generating positive, lasting value. As brand owners we’ve been sitting in the same position you have, wondering where to find the answers to sustainability, and we have seen a future that benefits not only brands, but also customers and the environment.
